Spotlight on: LOTE Kids EBooks

We’ve previously written posts about the various eServices available to library users and one for children is LOTE, or Languages Other Than English which you can read about here.

Libraries are inclusive spaces for people of all ages, genders, ethnicities, nationalities and languages and in line with that library users can log into this service with their library barcode

LOTE Online for Kids is an online database of digital picture books in World Languages, that helps libraries to engage multilingual families in their communities, while allowing kids to enjoy books and learn language through the magic of storytelling.

LOTE4Kids is a great way for libraries to expand their children’s World Language collections to provide a more diverse and inclusive library service for multicultural families in their community. Kids can now enjoy 2000+ digital books in over 50+ languages together with English translations, from the comfort of home!
